Celebrating 41 years of support for national and international relief

Thank you to all the volunteers, donors, bidders, eaters, and buyers (and electricians who worked to restore power) who helped raise $418,889 in less than 24 hours (Shalom House is not included). About 80% of the total raised will go to Mennonite Central Committee, with the rest going towards expenses and a reserve for 2008.

Mennonite Central Committee is a relief, service, and peace agency of the North American Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches.

Proceeds from the Michiana Mennonite Relief Sale go directly towards MCC's relief efforts both overseas and within the U.S. MCC seeks to demonstrate God's love by working among people suffering from poverty, conflict, oppression and natural disasters, such as the Iraq War, the Gulf Hurricane and the crisis in Sudan.
